AICE Media Studies

  I will work in a group with my classmates Noah and Felipe again. We will create a fun final task. Based on working with then last time these people can do many things that they are both good at. I’m really interested in all the cool and fun activities. I’m excited to get to work on this final task and use my technological skills. I’ve been able to work on my editing. I am sure we’ll create an amazing final task. I feel that with them I will be able to use all our prior knowledge that would benefit us as a group. We all love to watch many movies and tv shows so we are excited for this final task. I can’t wait to see more about how they and I will produce this final task. I know a lot of hard work and many different roles are needed to produce a good final task and I want to do my best with them to get it done.   It's Dartamian Dorelien the 10th grader again. The first two projects were so much fun. I was really interested in all the cool and fun activities that we participated in within the class. I’m excited to get to work on this final task and learn new technological skills. I’ve always been intrigued on the editing my group and I were able to do. Also all the videos that were created. I feel that with this class’s final task I will be able to expand my knowledge and use it to benefit me. I love to watch many movies and tv shows so this class became even more interesting over time. I would love to make my final project look like how professional movies and shows are produced. I know a lot of hard work and many different roles are need to get that outcome.  After many ups and downs the music video is finished. All though it is not the original plan it is still a great outcome. There are a lot of things I could improve on looking at this music video. I hope that on the next project I’ll be able to do even better. Overall this project was fun and I was really able to use my skill.

 I am closer to being finished. Today I was finishing up the editing. Almost all the takes are where they need to be. Reshooting won’t be necessary all the scenes are good. There were a lot of takes that allowed for more choices.  When filming I made sure we have the things we needed.  After this I decided how long the duration of the song the music video would be for. This is an important step. The reason being is that the music is the story telling piece of this process.  Some of the props that were supposed to look be used were either not used or replaced. Even some of the costumes had to be changed. Although this wasn’t the original plan it was a great change of plans. Once I got to the filming location it was mostly just brainstorming in the beginning. All the plans for the revised version were made. All the things that were needed for the filming were gathered.   My group and I had a change of plans. to have a  main male and female character. Unfortunately, the female character that was supposed to come couldn’t make it. So the plan had to be changed. Instead of a breakup situation the plan was changed into a jealous friendship between you 3 guys. The storyboard was followed when possible, but some things had to be improvised. Some of the props that were supposed to look be used were either not used or replaced. Even some of the costumes had to be changed.   On day of filming I was late. When I arrived one of the filming members were not there. I was supposed to be the camera man. But, since the other person could not make it I had to be in the video. All the plans had to be changed to fit the new cast. It was very difficult and took a lot of brainstorming. The first scene was very hard to film. It felt as if there was no plan or structure to the music video. But, after the first scene all the ideas started coming together. The second scene was more fun and enjoyable.
