Musical development
Choosing the right music for a film can be a daunting task. It's important to find music that complements the tone of the film. Also it needs to enhances the emotional impact of the scenes. The first step was to create a list of potential tracks that could work for my film. Once I had a list, it was important to obtain the rights to use the music. This can be a complicated process. Especially if the music is owned by a large music company. It's important to be persistent and patient when trying to obtain music for the film. Music is just so important that you need to but in a lot of work. This complicated process is worth it in the end. During my first step of creating a list of potential tracks that could work for my film. All the songs I was taking into consideration would have furthered my film. Obtaining the necessary rights and permissions to use the music was the most difficult part. This can involved negotiating with music companies or artists. It is a very time-consuming process. But, it was important for me to get it for my film. Although I haven’t gotten a response yet I will still remain optimistic. The music I selected will be great for my film. Of course I have a back up plan if I don’t get the rights. This back plan would be to use copyright free music. Finding copyright music is an easier and faster process of obtaining music for the film.
