Potential Genres

 

In film there are many different creative routes to go. Each idea is filled with different types of elements to best suit what the director wishes to convey. Genres separate from these different types of film into categories based on what the film is about. This also allows viewers to easily select which movie they want to watch based on its genre. So for my short film these are three genres that I think will best suit my film.
  • Action
  • Thriller
  • Drama

  Camera Angles Common camera angles in action movies are eye level and low angle. The eye level shot allows for the viewer to see the action without influence of the actor’s emotions. The low angle shot intensifies the scene in where whatever is in the frame is perceived as powerful. Camera Shots Extreme close ups and long shots are typically used in action movies. Extreme close ups really focus in on the character’s facial expressions allowing the viewer to create inferences. Film Review

  A film review is an evaluation of a movie by a critic or viewer. It typically analyzes the various elements of the film, such as the plot, characters, direction, cinematography, sound design, and overall impact. A good film review provides a detailed analysis of the film's strengths and weaknesses and offers insight into what makes the film work or not work. Reviews can be positive or negative, and they should be written in a way that is clear and concise, using specific examples to support the writer's arguments.
